CANCELING/CHANGING AN ORDER
Once an order is placed it is a commitment to purchase. We will do our best to accommodate an "after order" request but we take absolutely no responsibility for being able to modify or cancel an order.

PROVIDING CORRECT ADDRESS INFORMATION
Please make sure to provide your complete and correct address information. A wrong street number, missing suite or apartment number or incorrect zip code may cause your package to be undeliverable. In addition, UPS charges an address correction fee which will be automatically charged to your credit card on file at $14 a box. You will receive an invoice via email if these charges have been applied to your account.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Due to customs and regulations we are unable to ship live pets, live feeders and frozen feeders internationally. Some items such as glass aquariums are also unable to ship internationally.

Some product warranties do not provide coverage outside of the U.S., and some products may not be exported under any circumstances due to manufacturer's restrictions or U.S. law. Big Apple Pet Supply makes no representations regarding warranty coverage, compatibility or serviceability for products that are used outside the U.S.

CANADA

  • Our minimum product order for delivery into Canada is $100.00. Our minimum live reptile order (due to extensive permits required) is $6,000.
  • Orders placed for delivery to Canada can use a credit card but must have their orders shipped to the billing address of their credit card. We are sorry we are unable to accept PayPal payments for Canadian orders.
  • Canadian orders may be placed directly through our secured website or via phone. All orders are subject to applicable fees which include brokerage fees, customs, duties and taxes, all of which are the responsibility of the customer. You will be notified if additional fees are applied.

    We offer Free Shipping on most product orders $49 and over and live animal orders $299 or over.

    Free Shipping is only available for orders within the contiguous 48 US States. For Alaska or Hawaii orders, you can call us at 800-92-APPLE (922-7753) for a shipping quote, or complete your order and we will email a freight quote for your approval.

    ORDERS ELIGIBLE FOR FREE SHIPPING
    Almost all of our products are eligible, with the few exceptions being live/frozen feeders and certain heavy/large items. Ineligible products will be indicated as such on their respective product pages and at checkout.

    Simply add products to your cart and if your order subtotal is $49 or more your Shipping & Handling cost will be FREE.

    FREE SHIPPING ON LIVE ANIMAL ORDERS $299 OR MORE
    Simply add live animals to your cart and if your order subtotal of live animals is $299 or more your Shipping & Handling cost will be FREE.

    COMBINED ORDERS
    If your order contains both $49 or more in products and $299 in live animals all Shipping & Handling costs will be FREE.

    As long as your order doesn't contain heavy/large items you'll receive our standard shipping rate as follows:

  • Most Product Orders over $49 - FREE
  • Live animal orders over $299 - FREE
  • Product orders - $9.95 flat rate.
  • Live Animals - $39.95 flat rate.
  • Frozen Feeders - $39.95 flat rate.
  • Live Insects - $19.95 for first box and $5.95 for each additional box.

  • SHIPPING PRODUCTS
    Most product orders received by 3 PM EST Monday through Friday ship the same day. We offer Free Shipping on most product orders $49 and over and live animal orders $299 or over. See Free Shipping section below for a full breakdown of our shipping rates.

    SHIPPING LIVE ANIMALS
    Orders placed Monday through Thursday by 12 PM EST ship the same day via NEXT DAY AIR. We will do our best to ship live animal orders received after 12PM EST the same day.     Please Note!

  • Some states require a health certificate before we can ship your pet. If this is the case for your order we will contact you via email to get approval for the $20.00 fee and schedule the vet appointment.
  • Live animals ship from our breeding facility in the mid-east United States via NEXT DAY AIR.
  • Products and live animal orders always have separate shipping charges.
  • Live animal orders cannot be canceled once processed.
  • Buyer is responsible for following all Local, State or Federal Laws.
  • Live animals cannot be shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or outside the US.

  • SHIPPING LIVE FEEDERS
    Live Feeder orders (except Butterworms) placed Monday through Thursday by 3 PM EST ship the same day ordered via UPS NEXT DAY AIR. Live Feeder orders placed from Thursday after 3 PM EST through Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday.

    Butterworm orders placed Monday through Wednesday by 3 PM EST ship the same day ordered via USPS Priority Mail. Butterworm orders placed Wednesday after 3 PM EST through Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday.

  • SHIPPING FROZEN FEEDERS
    Frozen feeder orders placed Monday through Thursday will ship the following Monday. Frozen feeder orders placed Friday through Sunday will ship Monday of the week after the next.

  • Flat rate shipping price includes special box, 15-20 lbs of dry ice, insulator blankets and FedEx freight.

    Live animal & live feeder orders are covered under a Live Arrival Guarantee as long as they are signed for upon delivery and not left unattended for any period of time.

    Butterworm orders do not have live arrival guarantees May 1 through September 15. DOA Butterworms will not be refunded or replaced during those dates.

    Frozen feeders also have frozen arrival guarantee as long as the package is not left unattended for any period of time.

    FEDEX NEXT DAY AIR & SECOND DAY AIR
    For FEDEX Next Day or Second Day service you must call 800-92-APPLE (922-7753) and place the order on the phone with a Pet Care Consultant. Typically, shipping your order by Next Day or Second Day Air produces significantly higher freight costs than ground delivery. Placing an order by phone will not delay the shipping of your order in any way.

    RETURNS

    If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please return it for a refund, exchange or credit. All returns must be made within 30 days from date of purchase. Any product not in original packaging or in sellable condition will not be eligible for a return. Additionally, return items that are received back damaged are not refundable. Please make sure to insure your return as you are fully responsible for making any claim to the shipper you used for the return. 10% restocking fee is applied on all refunds but is waived for house credit returns. Original shipping and/or handling charges are not refundable and shipping costs for the return of any item/s is the full responsibility of the customer.

    TO COMPLETE A RETURN
    You must email Sales@BigApplePetSupply.com indicating the item(s) you need to return. If the item is damaged, KEEP ALL SHIPPING MATERIALS AND BOXES and email a photo of the damaged item and shipping box to Sales@BigApplePetSupply.com. For additional assistance, contact us at 1-800-92-APPLE.

    WARRANTY ITEMS
    All equipment is guaranteed up to 30 days. Beyond 30 days all products are covered by the manufacturer.

    NON RETURNABLE ITEMS
    Under no circumstances are the following items returnable; Acrylic/Glass/Screen/Mesh/Metal/Wooden Habitats, Stands, Screentops/Canopys, Sump Tanks, Aquariums, Incubators, Rodent Cages/Bottles, Heat Tape/accessories, Live Reptiles, Live Amphibians, Live Feeders, Frozen Feeders, Bedding/Substrates, Medications, Vitamins or Vitamin Powders, Foods, Wood Products, Pet Beds, Pet Seats, Pet Carriers & Totes, Pet Food/Treats, Pet Toys, Leashes/Collars/Cones, Habitrail Products or any item that the website indicates as Not Returnable.

    MISSING/INCORRECT/DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
    These items must be reported by the next business day. After the next business day, we cannot be held responsible. You MUST keep all your packaging materials and original shipping box with UPS/USPS label in order for us to file a claim. Failure to do so will forfeit any damage claim.
