WHAT IS THE GIVE BACK PROGRAM?
When you purchase from Big Apple Pet Supply and utilize our Give Back Program we will donate 5% of your total order to one of the participating organizations (See Participating Organizations section below).
All affiliates of our Give Back Program must have 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit status and operate as one of the following;
No Kill Shelters
Animal Rescues
Rehabilitation Centers
Animal & Wildlife Humane Education Programs
Millions of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles & wildlife each year find themselves in shelters across the United States without a family or home to care for them. In addition, many wildlife creatures do not have a place to be rehabiliated after being injured, forcing them to be euthanized. Non-profit no-kill shelters, rescue organizations & rehabilitation centers work hard to protect, feed and care for these homeless or injured animals.
Fortunately, through the hardworking efforts of these organizations many of these homeless and injured animals find loving homes or are rehabilitated to health. Big Apple Pet Supply supports these no kill shelters, rescues organizations and rehabilitation centers that improve the lives of so many animals.
In addition, Big Apple Pet Supply will donate to Humane Education Programs that address fundamental issues regarding animal guardianship, violence prevention, environmental awareness and social responsibility.
HOW DOES THE GIVE BACK PROGRAM WORK?
When you place an order with Big Apple Pet Supply all you do is enter the organizations assigned code in the COUPON CODE field on the "Review & Submit" page at final checkout. Assigned Codes are given to all organizations that have filled out the GIVE BACK PROGRAM FORM and has been approved by Big Apple Pet Supply. You can obtain the codes from the organization's website. All organizations in the program will be provided with their 5% giveback on a quarterly basis (i.e., first day of January, April, July and October).
