Zoo Med Reptisun Fluorescent Terrarium Hood

The Zoo Med Reptisun Fluorescent Terrarium Hood is the nicest quality fluorescent fixture we have seen in the reptile industry. It incorporates a powerful ballast that will extract the full UVA & UVB from any bulb housed in it. In addition, the built in reflector allows for deep penetration of the visable and UVB light. This fixture holds one 18" fluorescent bulb (ie. Reptisun 5.0 or 10.0 or Repti-Glo 10.0 bulbs). The fixture also incorporates a convenient on/off switch. This size fluorescent would be recommended for a 10, 15, 20, 29 or 40 gallon enclosure. For enclosures that are larger than 36 inches long we recommend that more than one terrarium hood is used.
