This is without a doubt the best "incandescent" style heat bulb that we have ever seen. It's a good 24 hour heat source because it produces high levels of infrared heat with very little visible light (less than 10%), so it doesn't interfere with day/night cycles.
The unique "silver flash" on the inside of the bulb reflects more infrared heat on to your reptile and minimizes nighttime glare. Big Apple highly recommends these bulbs for the high quality heating they produce as well as their long burn life.
