Zoo Med's new 18" Naturalistic Terrarium Hood is an extremely high quality product that incorporates a built in reflector allowing for increased heat/UVB penetration in your terrarium. It is designed to hold a single compact fluorescent UVB bulb (most brands) AND one incandescent heat lamp up to 60 watts (perfect for Zoo Med's Daylight Blue or Nightlight Red Bulbs). In addition, there is two on/off switches located on the back of the hood. Of course, two 18" hoods can be used to provide additional heat and UVB. The hood is ideal for 10, 15, 20, 29, and 40 gallon size enclosures. Of course, this fixture also works perfectly with Zoo Med & Exo-Terra Glass Terrariums.
