Forest Floor Bedding is a superb substrate for all types of snakes including boas and pythons. However, many of our customers find this to be the best possible substrate for tortoises and box turtles. Finally, frogs, toads, salamanders, tarantulas, rodents and insects all do great with this substrate.
This substrate is unique in that it actually attracts waste away from animals but also safely satisfies animals' need to dig. Reptiles like Iguanas love to dig in their mulch area! Forest Floor Cypress Bedding can be cleaned the same way Repti Bark is cleaned (soak in hot water every 2 to 3 months).
