The 5-1/2" dome model is the only 5-1/2" unit on the market that is made with a ceramic socket. It has an incredible ability to hold up to 100 watts which is a breakthrough in any 5-1/2" fixture design!!! It also comes with a clamp for easy attachment to most cages.
