All of our mosses except for Spanish moss are air dried, which simply renders it dormant without actually killing it. The mosses are harvested in clumps or sheets which when rehydrated, resumes its original shape and suppleness. They are carefully packaged in a protective reuseable plastic trays for your convenience.

Frog (Mood) Moss is used to decorate any moist humid environment and is the ideal substrate for sensitive amphibians and reptiles. Its tight surface also prevents pin-head crickets from escaping frogs.

Feather Moss receives its name because of the delicate feather like structure of its filaments. Used to decorate any moist humid environment as it assists in the shedding process of amphibians and reptiles.

Spanish Moss is harvested from trees in the humid South East United States and Mexico. Its silver grey filaments add an attractive decorative touch to any desert terrarium.
