All of our mosses except for Spanish moss are air dried, which simply renders it dormant without actually killing it. The mosses are harvested in clumps or sheets which when rehydrated, resumes its original shape and suppleness. They are carefully packaged in a protective reuseable plastic trays for your convenience.
Frog (Mood) Moss is used to decorate any moist humid environment and is the ideal substrate for sensitive amphibians and reptiles. Its tight surface also prevents pin-head crickets from escaping frogs.
