It's a natural looking 7" simulated Sand Stone water bowl that has a special calcium "block" which is molded into the bottom. As your reptile drinks, calcium is released into the water and injested directly by your reptile.
One pre-molded block comes with the bowl purchase but we recommend you buy a calcium recharge bottle to have on hand when the basin needs a new "block" made. The calcium recharge bottle contains a powder that will from a "block" at the base of ANY reptile bowl turning it into a calcium water bowl.
The bowls are modeled from real sandstone from Utah and Arizona. They have a natural textured surface and are designed to match with the formations of Rep-Tiles Stone Starter Kits or Stepping Stones. They are ideal for decorating desert terrariums.
