Hagen Nutrafin Treasure Chest Weekend Fish Feeders contain a well balanced variety of freeze-dried foods. When the block is added to water it slowly dissolves to provide a time-released source of food during your absence. The Treasure Chest neutralizes pH and purifies water and the 7 day chest is Sufficient for about 7 to 10 days per block while the 3 day chest will feed for about 3 to 4 days. One Treasure Chest feeds an average 10 to 20 gallon community tank. Use multiple blocks for larger aquariums. The Optimum pH range to use with these blocks is 6.8-7.2O and the optimum temperature is 76-78 degrees. The Treasure Chest should not be used in bowls or aquariums without adequate aeration or filtration as proper water circulation is required for normal dissolution. We recommend that a water change be performed after the Treasure Chest is removed. Available in 7 day block and 3 day (4 pack) block.
