These unique shaped mechanical filtration pads are designed specifically for Fluval 05 series filters and the FX5 filter. They are 30-60 microns and are extra thick which works to clear out micro particles and floating debris from your aquarium. This helps to clear any cloudiness and create crystal clear water.
We recommend that you place this in the final cartridge chamber behind a BioMax cartridge. They are available in three or six packs, depending on which filter model you have. These pads are to help clear cloudy water and are not intended to be used a a permanent filter media.
Available in 3 packs for the 105, 205 and FX5 Fluval filters and 6 packs for the 305 and 405 models.
