Fluval Peat Granules purify freshwater aquariums naturally. It is highly effective at stabilizing pH levels while softening and darkening the water to create a more natural look. We recommend that you rinse the peat granules before you use them and that you place this media in the middle filter module of your fluval filter. This media should be replaced when the brown coloration of the peat has faded.
