The Fluval Lab Series Nitrate Remover filter media removes toxic nitrates rapidly without interfering with pH balance. This product is developed with strict laboratory standards and will never increase phosphates or affect your pH or water hardness. Recharge this media regularly by soaking it in saltwater for about 24 hours and then rinse with water before using it. A media bag is included and can be used in freshwater aquariums only. This media works perfectly with the Fluval filters.
