- High Capacity - Capable of storing 1.5 gallons of filter media and recirculating 925 gallons of water per hour.
- Smart-Pump Chip - A computer chip monitors the pump, taking measurements to ensure efficiency. Every 24 hours the pump automatically stops to release air trapped in the system.
- Multidirectional Output Nozzle - Twin output nozzles can be adjusted to create specific water flows to reach all areas of the aquarium.
- Easy to Use - With the FX5, no manual siphoning is necessary. Once everything is hooked up the filtering process begins automatically. Of course, included is an instructional DVD helpful for novices and experts alike.
- Media Customization - The stacking media baskets allow you to layer your media in a precise manner. A foam insert in the baskets allows for mechanical pre-filtering. Maintenance is simple due to the instant-release handles that separate the baskets.
- Efficient - The FX5 has several measures to prevent clogging and damage to the system. Aquastop valves provide an easy way to stop water flow for maintenance. Click-fit connectors create a leak free connection and the clog-proof intake strainer repels debris.
