Hagen AquaClear Power Filters

The Aqua Clear Power Filter is a patented design that offers superb filtration with incredible efficiency and flexibility. In addition, the AquaClear filters have media baskets which you can customize with foam, carbon, ammonia remover or BioMax media. Included with each AquaClear is a biomechanical filter foam and carbon media insert.

There are several features which make these filters unique including; The Flow Control dial which allows you to manually adjust the amount of water flow and The Refiltration System which complements the flow control by re-circulating water when the flow is decreased, increasing the media contact time. Combined with the multistage media inserts you can produce a complete filtration solution: Mechanical, Biological, and Chemical.
