AUBURN LEATHERCRAFTERS

Auburn Leathercrafters is a company that has been manufacturing fine quality leather items in the USA since 1950. Inter-woven into the Auburn products are high quality materials that makes each collar, lead and harness a comfortable soft product for your pet and durable enough for long time wear. Some of the Auburn leather pet items have been featured in many reputable magazines such as Home and Garden, Dog Fancy, Pet Age, and Real Simple.

GI COLLAR

The Auburn GI Collar was originally manufactured and named for dog handlers at the former Plattsburgh, NY Air Force Base. The GI Collar is an exceptional collar for strong dogs. The collar is manufactured with two layers of high quality full grain bridle leather with an extended “D” ring pattern for additional strength. The layers are then stitched together with heavy-duty nylon thread and the edges are beveled and hand finished to assure extreme comfort for you when walking your dog. The bright nickel-plated welded “D” ring and strong roller buckle with a wire tuck loop keeper and smooth capped rivets make this GI Collar a sturdy and stunning collar. Made in the USA and available in Black.

For How To Purchase The Correct Collar Size... Click Expand Description

It is important when purchasing a collar that you measure your dog correctly. Use a tape measure to measure around your dogs neck and then add about two inches. To verify the size you can also measure around your dogs neck and allow two fingers to be comfortably placed between your dog and the collar. The collar should not be too loose that it slides over the dogs head or too tight where it restricts breathing.
