The Exo-Terra Reptile Den is a unique through-the-glass magnetic formation that allows you to see your pet's burrow without actually opening your terrarium. The den comsists of two parts; the hiding place (75% of the den) that sits inside your enclosure and the magnetic cover (25% of the den) that is placed on the outside of the terrarium.

How it works... Simply remove the rock cover from the outside of the cage and you'll be able to view your reptile hiding or sleeping. When you're finished observing your animal, simply place the cover back on the glass and the magnets will lock it back in place once again covering the hiding area. The rock is insulated to keep the tunnel system cooler than the ambient temperature inside the terrarium and if so desired you can place moistened moss or substrate inside the den for a more humid environment.
These dens are absolutely wonderful for Snakes, Bearded Dragons, Skinks and many other species of reptiles but they are also one of the best hiding places for Leopard Geckos that we have ever seen!
