IMPORTANT! This is NOT the same incubator as you may see on other websites. This is our exclusive product which we had completely redesigned to work with our digital proportional thermostat. It is in no way associated with the old style dual wafer design you see on other websites.
The old dual wafer design was subject to catastrophic failure. We have a hard time understanding how any reputable company could sell the old style units to their customers for reptile egg incubation.

Safety Hatch Incubators feature the following;
- Ultimate Safety - a second special thermal cut-off thermostat to prevent overheating of the heat element.
- Safest incubator in the industry with a fully grounded heater safety grid wired to the fan cord set.
- Large fan assisted radiant heat tubes gently and accurately warm the air and eggs while the water pan provides even distribution of humidity.
- Comes complete with the Herp Power Proportional Thermostat, moisture pan, solid front door (acrylic clear door shown is an option that can be purchased separately - see below) and thermometer.
- Holds up to 500 eggs (depending on species) with its colossal dimensions of 31" High x 29" Deep x 15-1/2" Wide.
Optional Hatching Trays with covers (as shown in picture) - No longer available since these prove not to be the best method of incubation for reptile eggs nor do they achieve maximum use of space. We have found through the years that customers prefer to maximize the incubator space by stacking "rubbermaid" or "sterilite" shoe boxes directly into the incubator. With this method, you will get superior hatch rates, you also have full view of all of your eggs so keeping track of their "status" is readily available.
We think you'll find that not only is this the most affordable large scale incubator but that it is the most accurate unit on the market today.
