Rack Frame Construction:
- Made of the highest quality Stainless Steel # 304 (Stainless Steel # 304 is the ONLY acceptable material for commercial rodent rack construction).
- Durable 25mm x 25mm (1" x 1") stainless steel tubular frames average an incredible 1.2mm gauge thickness making the Big Apple Racks one of the strongest in the industry.
- Stainless steel cage track suspension tubing is securely welded to the main frame and are 19mm x 19mm at 1mm gauge. Castors are commercial grade with stainless steel stem. The swivel wheels incorporate a locking feature for added stability.
Tub Construction:
- Made of extremely durable polypropylene (PP 7726). The density of our polypropylene tubs average 0.90-0.91, one of the thickest tubs available!
- Tub is easy to clean with durability to withstand autoclave temperatures up to 130 degrees celcius (266 degrees Fahrenheit).
Tub Lid Construction:
- Features high quality narrow straight wire stainless steel for durability and escape proofing.
- Easy to clean and sterilize.
- Special locking clips assure absolute escape proof containment.
- Separate feeding and watering wells allow rodents easy access to the water and food.
Rodent Bottle Construction:
- Polypropylene bottles are durable for easy cleaning and are made with a wide mouth for quick refilling.
Incorporates a high quality rubber bung with stainless steel sipper tube and solid stainless steel protector plate to prevent any possibility of chewing the stopper or bottle.
